Rising 6th Grade Course Selection Information 2024
Welcome to LTMS!
Dear Future LTMS Families,
Over these next few months, we will go through the exciting process of planning for the 2024-2025 school year. The newsletter below is designed to assist parents and students in learning more about the opportunities available in 6th grade and beyond. It will also give you an overview of what is required for the course selection process for all secondary students.
Students will begin to explore the course selection process with their elementary counselors and teachers in the coming weeks. While the deadline to enter final selections in Skyward is March 1st, current 5th grade students will walk through this process with their current counselors and 5th grade teachers together during school. Please direct specific questions on registration to your elementary counselor.
We have a variety of activities planned to assist our students and parents with the course selection process in the coming weeks. Those are shared in the timelines and slide decks below. We know this is new information for everyone and will work diligently to keep all of our parents and students informed every step of the way.
There are many options available to secondary students, and this is an exciting time for them to discover their passions, challenge themselves, and get excited about new opportunities. We appreciate you taking the time to review this important information, so you are best prepared to make informed decisions regarding courses for next year. We are thrilled to work with all of our current and future students to help ensure a smooth transition to middle school.
Check out our Middle School Course Catalog listed below and on our website. Enjoy exploring the many exciting courses for next school year and be sure to reach out to any member of our leadership team with any questions or concerns.
We are thrilled to serve our future 6th graders for the 2024-2025 school year! Welcome to the LTMS Family!
Go Knights!
