Stone Bank School
Reaching Out ~ October 19, 2018
From Mrs. Davies
Just a reminder, if you have not viewed your child's MAP assessment results they are available in Skyward under the Report Card and Test Results Tab. Your child's teacher will review these results with you at conferences.
As you prepare for your child's conference, please keep in mind that teachers have about 15 minutes to spend with each family. If you have concerns that could take longer than the allotted time, please consider contacting the teacher(s) to schedule a time outside of conferences to chat. This helps our teachers stay on schedule and provide equal time to each family.
Mrs. Wartzenluft and I will both be available during conferences if you have questions or concerns. Please drop by the main office to see either of us.
Enjoy the weekend,
Lynn

2018 Christmas Clearing Council
If any of our Stone Bank School families are in need of assistance for Christmas gifts for their children, the Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha is accepting applications. The deadline to turn them into me is November 20th. If you qualify for free and reduced lunch or get help from WIC, and have custody of your children ages birth to senior in high school, you are eligible for this program. Please print out a copy and fill out BOTH pages of this application, page 2 , and send it with your child in an envelope with my name on it. If you would like me to send a copy home instead of printing it out, please email me, and I will send it home. Email me with any questions please. k.zdrojewski@stonebank.k12.wi.us
*If you are a family that would like to donate to a family that needs assistance, you can call 262-896-3390 to be matched with a family or visit the website at Christmas Clearing.

Hartland Chamber of Commerce ~Trick or Treat
Thursday, October 25, 2018
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Costumed children through sixth grade are invited to join in the Halloween festivities.
The participating businesses will exhibit an official Halloween poster in their window.
Children can pick up a Trick or Treat bag with goodies from participating sponsors at the
Hartland Chamber of Commerce new location at 300 Cottonwood Avenue. The number of bags is limited to 1000 so children are asked to bring their own bags as well. Volunteers from the American Legion and VFW posts will help distribute the bags.
The streets are open to traffic during Trick or Treat hours so children are cautioned to cross only at designated areas. Volunteers from the community will assist police in helping children across the streets. Parents are asked to accompany their children throughout the evening.
This event goes on Rain or Shine so dress accordingly!
