3rd Quarter Units of Study
Math: Adding and subtracting with and without regrouping
Parents: Please practice basic math facts with your students at home for at least 10-15 minutes a daily. This will help them during this unit to see how regrouping with 2 and 3 digit numbers work. We have made flash cards and games to use so you don't have to purchase anything. Have fun!
Reading: Fables and Folktales
Parents: Thank you for reading with your students everyday. The hard work you are doing is really showing in their reading in the classroom.
If you have any stories or videos related to fables ( The Boy Who Cried wolf) or Folktales (Anansi and The Watermelon); please share them with your students. This will keep their minds sharp for what we will cover and review in class.
Reminder:
The students must complete at least 4 assignments a week on the home practice calendar and read for a minimum of 20 minutes each day.
