Summer School Invitations Went Home Today
Invitations for summer school went home today with students who qualify based on teacher recommendation. If your child is a remote student, and qualifies for summer school, the invitation will be sent via email by your child's teacher. If your child does not receive an invitation, then he/she was not recommended for summer school. Please keep in mind that spots are very limited for summer school. In some cases, promotion to the next grade level is dependent on successful completion of summer school (ie: excessive absences and/or failing grades on a report card).
Summer school will run Monday through Friday, June 7th-18th from 8:30-11:30 am. Summer school will be face-to-face only. Transportation and meals are not provided for summer school due to the shortened hours.
If your child receives a summer school invitation, and you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

New CDC Guidelines for Fully Vaccinated Persons
Now that vaccinations for Covid are more available, it's good to know how they affect your need to quarantine if exposed to Covid.
People who are fully vaccinated (2 weeks after their last dose in the series) do not need to quarantine after a close contact.
Unlike people who have only a 90 day window of immunity after testing positive, fully vaccinated people are not limited to 90 days.
As it is still early in our vaccination experience, the CDC will continue to evaluate how long the protection lasts, but for now, it is considered ongoing!
Click here for the full guidelines.
