A Message from Mr. Daliposki!

This is the last full week in May! Can you believe that the end of the school year is nearby? As we prepare for June, it is essential that students continue to come to school every day and on time. Remember, EVERY DAY COUNTS!


Updates for the week:


  • Monday, May 22nd - The Student Council will meet at 2:30 pm
  • Wednesday, May 24th - The NYPD Jazz Band will perform at the main building
  • Thursday, May 25th - 5th Grade Field Day!
  • Monday, May 29th - Schools will be closed in observance of Memorial Day

Pre-K Offers

Great news! Pre-K offers will be released on May 17th. Families, you will have until Tuesday, June 27th, to accept the main offer and register. You will need to accept the offer in the MySchools, and registration documents must be handed into the program by that date. To learn more about the program, visit the NYCDOE General Pre-K Webpage.

3K Offers

Great news! 3-K offers will be released on May 24th. Families, you will have until Tuesday, June 27th, to accept the main offer and register. You will need to accept the offer in the MySchools, and registration documents must be handed into the program by that date.

i-Ready Summer Access

Next year, we will continue to use i-Ready as an online diagnostic tool to support students in math and ELA. All students have received their account information. If you do not have your child's account information, please contact their teacher(s).

Your child(ren) can access i-Ready until August 24, 2023. At that time, i-Ready will begin preparations for the 2023-2024 academic year

Summer Rising Update

Parents, you will receive an email if your child(ren) were selected for a Summer Rising seat. As a reminder to families, PS 199Q does not make any of the selections.

Eye On Education

Eye On Education, a mobile eye exam service company, will be coming to PS 199Q on May 25, 2023.
