Homecroft Elementary School
News, Info, and Updates
March 3, 2021
We hope you are doing well and staying healthy. It's hard to believe that 2/3's of the school year are already behind us! Looking back over the last 6 months it is hard to believe that we transitioned from hybrid, to full Distance Learning, and now to in-person...AND we are starting to plan for 21-22 already.
I would like to welcome Mrs. Jenna Kelly to Homecroft as our new Kindgergarten teacher. Mrs. Kelly will be starting a third section of grade K on Monday, March 8th. She was hired to lower class size and address student needs within grade K. Parents of K students should look for a letter today informing you of this change. Those students selected for the new section will also be receiving an introduction letter from Mrs. Kelly welcoming your student to her class.
Conferences:
Homecroft conferences will be offered March 8-22nd for families either over the phone or virtually. Please connect with your child's teacher if you have not heard from them regarding scheduling a conference.
Absences:
Parents/guardians are reminded to provide a reason when students are absent. We are not trying to be nosy and invade your privacy, but we are required per statute, to code absences with a reason. IE - illness, appointment, etc.
Please take a moment to review the information listed below! Thank you for your partnership with us and enjoy the day.
