Reminders
- Key Club has partnered with the Army National Guard to get our annual canned food drive off the ground! This school-wide canned food drive competition begins next Monday, November 1st. Every first-period class is invited to bring non-perishable items to donate to Help House. Items from the list attached to the collection box in your classroom are worth more points. The Army National Guard is providing the prizes, and when we say things are getting off the ground, we aren’t kidding!!
Club Information
- Auditions for the Drama Club's production of Dracula will be Monday, November 8 from 3:00-5:30 on the SUB stage. All information can be found on the Drama Club Google Classroom. See Mrs. Gibson in A204 for more details.
- It is the season for eating bite-sized candies AND Trick or Trash. Have you considered that all of those candy wrappers do not need to go into a landfill? Ecology Club is collecting candy wrappers in your second-period classes to be recycled by the National Wildlife Federation. This is a competition to win a Big Bag of candy. Your job is to put all your candy wrappers in your second-period class bag between now and November 3rd. The winning class will be announced on November 4 and awarded with MORE candy.
- SkillsUSA General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 11/2 at 2:35 pm in Chef Rawlins' classroom - A212. Important information about Regional competitions and upcoming events will be discussed
- If you are interested in auditioning for the Spring Musical, come to the Choir Room after school on Tuesday, Nov 2. We will be giving a 45-minute workshop on how to prepare a solid audition. Anyone in the school is welcome and no experience is required.
Counseling Center Information
Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling things you’ll ever do. You can help shape a child’s future for the better by empowering them to achieve. And the best part is, it’s actually a lot of fun. You and your Little can share the kinds of activities you already like to do. Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Island County will be in the SUB November 1, 2 & 5 during lunch to lunch to recruit "Bigs" for their program. Learn more about this.
Students wishing to meet with their counselor should email their counselor for an
appointment. It may take a couple of days to get an appointment, so please plan ahead. See
the list below for counselor assignments. Parents may schedule an appointment by emailing the counselor directly or calling 360.279.5717
