Principal's Message

Greetings Willink Families!
Our first full school week in May found staff and students keeping busy with academics and extracurriculars. To fuel this work, our wonderful PTSA and Student Council helped celebrate staff with treats and tokens of appreciation each day.
The spring concert season kicked off Monday night as we hosted our friends from Spry (due to construction taking place in our other middle school) followed by three straight nights of Willink chorus concerts. Swan Lake, our student-run play, will be taking place at 7pm tonight and again at noon tomorrow and Willink music students will be right back at it with a spring band concert next Monday night.
While our students and staff continue to amaze us with their performances, it wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of John Hoefen and his custodial staff. Not only do they keep the building clean and running each day, but they also set-up, takedown, and clean the cafetorium to accommodate hundreds of adults and students each day. Thank you, Mr. Hoefen, for all that you and your staff do to make these events happen.
Have a happy Mother’s Day Weekend and please read on for some additional news and celebrations.
Take care,
Brian Powers
