Mt. SAC VRC Weekly Update
August 31st - September 4th
Mt. SAC Digital Student Handbook and Planner
- Daily: Have a planning session with yourself. Check to see when things are due. Take 5-10 minutes the night before or in the morning to help get all your tasks on paper, no matter how small. This way you can prioritize and the most pressing items are more likely to be complete.
- Weekly: Look at the whole week to see what you have to do.
- Monthly: Take a bigger look to see what is ahead of you.
- Focus: Believe you can do it. Keep your goals in front you.
- Self-Care: Do one thing for yourself each week!

Schedule Change Updates
During the first and second weeks of school we find that some students have changes to their schedule and this is normal. Students who receive GI Bill Benefits are required to notify the VRC of any drops/adds during this period by completing the DROP/ADD/Withdrawal Form.
Please make sure when making adjustments to your schedule, you are updating the VRC Team by:
- Completing the ADD/DROP/Withdrawal Form
- Emailing your updated receipt to veterans@mtsac.edu
If you are making any changes to your Mountie Academic Plan/Ed Plan (MAP), please send a copy to us at your earliest convenience. Per VA regulations, we can only certify classes on your MAP. Reminder to please submit a copy that is signed and dated by the counselor who completed your MAP.
Please contact us at 99-274-4520 or at veterans@mtsac.edu if you have any questions.
