This I Believe . . .
Mrs. Herr (Guidance Counselor) and Mrs. Tinsley (Media Specialist) worked with 4th grade students to research a notable or historical figure to answer the question: How do people overcome challenges? Students worked in teams to select a subject to research and to present their learning in either a talk show style interview or a poster-size trading card.
2016 Battle of the Books Team
Seven 4th and 5th grade students comprised Ellen Woodside's 2016 Battle of the Books Team. Students read 10 of the South Carolina Children's Book Award nominees and answered questions about the books at a Regional Competition at Bells Crossing on March 15.
