When you are thirsty, don't you go into your kitchen, run the water facet, fill a glass and drink from it? Do you realize how fortunate you are, just from that luxury? In many countries, this simple task is not available.

Let's be realistic.

Water pollution is a huge issue. Water is a essential element to life. One human can live one month without food but only a few days without water. It is said that 3.4 million people die each year from a disease caused by water pollutants.

Location: India.

Every day, 950 million gallons of sewage flows from New Delhi into the Yamuna River without any significant forms of treatment.

Location: Kenya, Africa.

A country with growth rates of 2.6% yearly, suffers from severe water pollution in some areas. The government of Kenya refuses to provide the country with water supply, making it nearly impossible to find water easily. Yet along clean water.

Location: China

In some areas of China, clean water is a rare. 54% of the Hai River basin surface water is considered unusable.
