Help Lichen with our school funding! Fill out a Meal Application!
Whether you qualify or not or don't feel you need free or reduced-priced meals, part of Lichen's School Funding comes from parents filling out this form. The information is completely confidential as the school site does not get information from this form. Please click on the link below to fill out the form and help with our funding. There is also an Opt Out form you can fill out below.
The free/reduced priced meal program affects a variety of areas unrelated to school meals, including school funding, internet access, college application fees, SAT fees and bus passes. Even if your child doesn't plan to eat school lunches, it is important to fill out the free/reduced priced meal program application to ensure our schools and families receive the available resources.

Positive Behavior Support for Families during Distance/Hybrid Learning
Here is a San Juan-created resource for anyone who is working (often from home) while struggling to support their children with distance/hybrid learning.
Positive Behavior Support for Families during Distance/hybrid Learning is an easy to follow 4-part video series designed to help parents and families use positive behavior support strategies at home that align with the same rules and values taught at their PBIS schools. It is designed to help families organize daily routines while maintaining such values as respect, responsibility and safety during this challenging time of uncertainty.
Choosing your student’s learning model for spring!
You should have received an email on Friday, October 30th asking you to complete a survey about what modified model of in person learning you would like your child to return to on January 5th or if you will choose to have your child remain in Distance Learning. (Students in homeschool or independent study also have the option to remain in those programs.)
Please check your email for this important survey, sent on Friday, Oct. 30th, as the district needs each family to complete one for each of your children.
