MORE STAFF UPDATES
Kristen Robles - We are SO happy/sad about Kristen's recent announcement to resign her position at Cannon, as she moves into her new position as an Elementary ELL Specialist in Irving ISD for next year. In this new role, she will coach teachers throughout the district in how to better serve their bilingual students. So, while we will miss her terribly, we are super happy for Kristen that she now has the opportunity to make such an amazing impact on even MORE students in her new role! Interviews have just been completed for new Bilingual Literacy Teachers at both Cannon & SLES, so stay tuned for an announcement coming soon about our new campus BLIT!
Audrey Prather - It has just been announced that Audrey will be serving Glenhope Elementary this year as the Literacy Intervention Teacher. We will really miss having Audrey on our Literacy Team at Cannon this year, but will look forward to following her success in her position as a Glenhope Gator! More information coming soon about who will serve in this position at Cannon.
Karissa Smith - Karissa's family welcomed the arrival of their precious son, Killian, on 6/21/18. They are loving being a family of 5 now and Karissa is looking forward to returning to Cannon on September 17th! Rosa Leal, trusted Cannon substitute, will be filling in for Karissa to welcome our Kindergarten Cubs at the beginning of the year. Congratulations to the Smith family! Check out cute Killian's photo below! :)
