Declaration of Respect- October 11, 2019
On this day students and staff members signed the annual Declaration of Respect pledging to demonstrate respect for themselves and all others through their interactions at school.
Anti Bullying Month
October is Anti Bullying month. This year our sixth graders attended an assembly titled, "Don't Be a Monster" on October 16th. Students were made aware of the importance of being an Upstander and the message to always treat one another with respect.

All sixth graders attended an anti bullying presentation this month titled "Don't Be a Monster". Students learned the importance of being an upstander!

PINK OUT!!
This month of October, both students and staff showed their support for Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing their PINK OUT shirts on Wednesdays and Fridays! Shirts were $12 and students were allowed to wear their PE shorts on Fridays with their PINK OUT shirts!
We had a great turn out and plan to continue the tradition next year.

RED RIBBON WEEK- October 21-25
Red Ribbon Lunches Gameshow
All 3 counselors visited during A, B and C lunches to share facts and quiz students on various drug facts.

Students learned about the dangers of alcohol, tobacco and marijuana by visiting the counseling table of facts!
Vaping Lesson for all 8th Graders
Counselors visited with all 8th graders and presented on the dangers of vaping.

Youth Lead
Students in Youth Lead attended an Anti Bullying presentation on Saturday October 19th at Rudder Middle School to learn more about cyber-bullying, responding to Bullying and the importance of spreading kindness on our campus.
Brandeis Athlete Mentors
Brandeis athletes assist once a week in our US History classes. These young men believe in service, leadership and hard work. We enjoy having them on our campus and their involvement with our Skyhawks!
