We look forward to seeing our students on

Wednesday, August 15.

School hours are 7:50 am - 3:00 pm.

Doors open at 7:30 am.

At 8:00 am (after announcements) we will have a small reception with coffee and muffins for all parents that are in the building. This will provide a time to meet the principals and grab a quick breakfast before heading out for the day.

Help Us Have a Smooth Beginning of the School Year

School procedures have been put in place to help our students and families have a smooth beginning of the school year. Our goal is to ensure that our students are provided a safe and orderly school environment. Thank you for helping us achieve this goal.

  • First Day of School - Parents/guardians may walk their students to class 7:30-8:00 am.
  • Second Day of School - ONLY kinder parents may walk their students to class. Students in all other grades must walk to their designated waiting areas without their parents. Parents will not be able to enter the designated waiting areas.
  • Third Day of School - All students walk to their designated waiting areas. All parents entering the building will need to check-in the front desk with an ID.
  • NO lunch visitors during the first 2 weeks of school. All students need time to learn and practice procedures in the cafeteria with their teachers. Seeing parents in the middle of the day may cause tearful moments for some students during the first couple of weeks.
  • Follow the dismissal procedures and map provided in your Meet the Teacher envelop.
  • Do not come to the front office to check out your child a few minutes early in order to avoid waiting in line. If you come to the front office during dismissal (2:45-3:00) to pick-up your child, there will be a delay since we will need to locate him/her at their designated dismissal area. You will also be asked to walk around the building and wait for your child in the area for "walkers" to prevent overcrowding the school entrance.
  • Contact the front office no later than 1:30 with any changes to how your child will get home. This will allow us time to communicate with teachers and adjust where he/she will be waiting at the end of the day.

Arrival and Dismissal

Our goal is to keep our students safe and provide a quick and simple system for you as their care giver. If you have any questions regarding the traffic flow or arrival and dismissal procedures, please contact us. Please be patient during the first couple of weeks as we all adjust to coming back to school.

You will be provided with a "car tag" to pick up your child even if you are walking up to the building. This will help us to ensure that students are going home with the right person.

Reminders:
