A Dwarf planet are celestial body that is in a orbit around the sun. Dwarf planets are found it the kuiper belt. Most of the dwarf planets are round but some are ovel. Dwarf planets have their own orbit. Some examples of dwarf planets are pluto , Eris , Haumea , Makemake and ceres.
Physical appearence
Pluto's physical appearence is 62 miles (100 kilometers) across, along with 1 trillion or more comets. Pluto has a diameter of 1,473 miles (2,370 km.). Less than one-fifth the diameter of the earth and only about two-thirds as wide as the moon
Size comparison
Pluto is 2,390 km. across that's about 70%of the moon and about 18% of the earth. Pluto is the largest dwarf planet in our solar system and ceres is the smallest . Dwarf planets are bigger than asteroids and comets.
Interesting facts
Pluto was found on February 18,1930 by Clyde Tombaugh. Pluto is the second closest dwarf planets to the sun. Pluto has 5 known moons these are Charon , Styx , Nix , kerberos , and Hydra.
