A Message from Dr. Stone
I appreciate all of your support in making sure that we are doing everything we can to keep students safe and learning at WCJH. Please remind your child that they must wear their ID at all times and it must be visible when they are at school. Most students are doing an awesome job with this so keep it up!
If your child forgets their ID, they must get a temporary ID in the morning in the cafeteria, where there is a temporary ID station. Each temporary ID is $1.00. If they have lost their permanent ID, one can be purchased in the library for $3.00.
Come out tonight to Katy High School where our volleyball teams will take on West Memorial! And next week our football teams take on Beckendorff. Hope to see you there!

Drop Off/Pick Up Reminders
- In the mornings, tutorials begin at 8:10am when the front doors open. Please drop off your student at the front of the school only, so that they can enter and go straight to their tutorial classroom.
- Only those who have been issued a parking pass from either the nurse or from their band/orchestra director may park in the front lot during drop off or pick up. All others, please use the carpool line.
- Please do not park in the gravel area on the other side of the fields to wait for your student. That area does not belong to the school, and parents parking there have created a safety issue for our walkers and bikers, with several of them having close calls of being hit by a car due to crowding and poor visibility. Please use the carpool line to pick up your student.
Thank you for your cooperation!

PARENT BOOK STUDY WITH WCJH COUNSELORS
Teens today are forty percent less empathetic than they were thirty years ago, often with devastating consequences. In 'Unselfie', best selling author and parenting expert Dr. Michele Borba pinpoints the forces causing the empathy crisis and offers a revolutionary 9-step plan to help parents and educators cultivate empathy in children, from birth to young adulthood.
With age appropriate exercises and examples from years of research, Dr. Borba offers a framework that yields the results we all want: successful, happy kids who grow up to be kind, moral, courageous, and resilient adults.
Please join us as we explore ways to shift our children's focus from I, ME, and MINE to US, WE, and OURS.
