From our volunteer service coordinator (VSC)
Thank you to everyone who helped with our Bingo party! This time of year can get so busy, and our students loved having a day to celebrate the closing of our 1st Trimester. We have also been sending MANY projects home for cutting or tracing, so thank you to everyone involved! It's a huge help to the staff at Adams. And finally, our K-Skillbuilder program is up and running. Thank you to the volunteers who have been working with our youngest learners! Small things can indeed make a big impact.
Two Needs for Next Week:
1. Picture Re-take Day is looking for one more volunteer. Volunteers will walk students from their classrooms to the gym, or stay in the gym and assist as needed. Takes place Tuesday, December 6th from 9:30am-1:00pm. Sign up here!
2. Kindness Poster Display: Earlier this year, students had the opportunity to create posters illustrating "there is power in kindness." We'd love to hang a selection around the school each month to show off their beautiful artwork. This would probably take about 45 minutes to complete, once a month. Sign up here to help.
Character Strong - Gratitude
