The Dead Sea
The Dead sea is located between Jordan and Isreal and is a beautiful, natural wonder.
The Dead sea has the highest salt content of any body of water in the world, 33%. Because of this high salt content there is not much life in the sea... hence the name the Dead sea.
This amount of salt also makes the water very dense. In fact it is dense enough to let humans be extremely boyant, even more than in regular water.
The Dead sea is also the deepest place in the world. Its depths reach about 2,300 feet below sea level.
Since it is located between Jordan and Isreal, the Dead sea has the Jordan river running through it.
Lastly, the Dead sea was one of the first health resorts. The mud rejuvinates skin and just being int the water is said to be benificial to ones health.
