Girls on the Run
Would you be interested in helping to build the confidence of the young girls at Conley and have fun doing this? If so, you need to consider becoming a coach for Girls on the Run. Being a coach is easy, rewarding, and you don't have to run! Check out the website to learn more information about this great program!
Young Author
Does your child like to write stories? If so, they might be interested in the Young Authors Contest here at Conley. Here are a couple of the important dates and details.
- The due date will be February 26th!
- A drop off box will be in the office after winter break.
- Books should be labeled with names, teacher, and grade before turning in.
Literacy
This week we are reading the story Leonardo’s Horse. Big Question of the Week ~ How do artists inspire furture generations?

Math
We will continue Unit 6 this week. We will cover topics such as sample size, sample data, and using benchmarks. We will also go over common denominators. Math boxes will be due on January 21st, and the test will be on January 22nd.
Social Studies
This week the students will finish learning about the events leading up to the Revolutionary War. We will then end the unit with war itself and the outcome. Next week will go back to science.
