I have a lot of information for you in this e-mail. The main thing is to not stress. It seems like a lot and overwhelming. I understand, but we will get there. Please take the time to sit with your athlete and read through this together, check the links and come up with a summer plan to be prepared for Hudson Bend Athletics.
We are looking forward to a great new group of Buccaneers!!

LTISD Athletic Grooming Policy
Student Athletic Dress Code
Please note the grooming policy for LTISD Athletics
Student code of conduct is in force at all times. Athletics is a privilege; therefore, the following standard of dress is in addition to the student code.
1) Hair shall be well groomed. No extreme hairstyles shall be allowed. Hair for male athletes shall not be below the collar of his shirt, not to hang down in front of eyes, and hair shall not cover the entire ear.
2) All athletes must be clean shaven, with no facial hair.
3) Jewelry is not permitted during athletic activities. Other restrictions may be directed by the campus staff.
4) Athletes shall avoid extreme clothes. Clothing should not reveal undergarments. A female athlete’s midriff must be covered and shall not wear see‐through clothing. These standards are to be followed during the school day, as well as during all athletic activities.
5) All middle school and high school athletes are expected to set a quality standard by adhering to the school dress code and policies in their mode of dress.
Game Schedules - 2019-2020
We are currently working on our games schedule for the 2019-2020 Athletic year. Most of the dates on the schedule below are firm. We may have a tweak or two as the year starts.
We cannot stress enough how important it is to stay active and competitive during the summer. Listed below are several camps that LTISD offers.
All sport strength and conditioning!!
When parents ask what their athlete needs to do to prepare for Hudson Bend and Lake Travis athletics the one answer is CAVS Course. Athletes are put through a six week, three day a week, two hour strength and conditioning program by the Lake Travis coaching staff.
There is not a better way to get ready for the upcoming seasons than CAVS Course.
Hill Country Passing Academy
High level instruction for the player who wants to take their game to the next level. This is the best camp I've seen with both on field and video instruction. The guys get tons of reps to help them be ready to compete when football season rolls around.
Want to go the extra mile, then get signed up for both sessions! Guys can take both sessions.
Offensive/Defensive Lineman Camp
The game is won in the trenches. Lake Travis coaches are offering the second annual O-Line/D-Line camp. This is a great opportunity for linemen to learn technique, stance and terminology early to prepare for fighting for a spot in the fall. Only for current 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Perfect for learning Hudson Bend's schemes.
Cavalier Football Camp
We are always looking at the next wave of Buccaneers and future Cavaliers. Don't let little brother get left out. The Cavalier football camp is for grades K-5 and tons of fun filled with drills, punt/pass/kick, a mini combine, and a team tournament the last day.
· Basketball Camp
– June 24-27. The middle school elite camp will be from 8:00 a.m. – noon.
Buccaneer Bash will be August 9, 2019. This will be the time the guys/girls will pick up their athletic clothing they ordered before the end of school. If you are unable to attend Buc Bash the guys will receive their clothing the first day of school.
We are active on Twitter highlighting our great athletes, athletic department and Hudson Bend & Lake Travis high school athletics.
