Social Media and Your Kids
Video games and apps. Do you like them? How do they make you feel? Does that feeling change the longer you use them? Are you using technology or is technology using you?
Max Stossel will be in Webster on Tuesday, October 4 to talk to parents/guardians and the community about “Social Media and Your Kids”. As a former social media designer of some of the same distracting push notices that he now speaks out about, Max provides a fresh take on tech in the lives of our kids.
So come to the Webster Schroeder auditorium, 875 Ridge Road Webster, on October 4; refreshments at 6:00 p.m.; presentation begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.
This event is brought to you by Webster CSD in partnership with Webster Central PTSA and Webster Health and Education Network: A Drug Free Community Coalition.
Want to know more about Max? Go to socialawakening.org.
On Wednesday, Mr. Stossel will be at Thomas for an all school assembly at 2:15. We will be running an altered time schedule to allow students to still attend all of their classes.
