Mrs. Pierce's Principal Message
Dear SMG Families,
At the beginning of Lent, we are reminded to repent and turn to the Gospel. Jesus reminds us there are temptations and sin all around us. To become better people, we need time of quiet to silence our hearts, so He can speak to us and we can hear His mission for us. Jesus wants us to build His kingdom. He calls us to repent and bring the Gospel message to others by what we say and do. Let’s make it our goal to do something more than nothing this week. The world will be a better place on Easter Morning.
Blessings,
Mrs. Pierce

Saints in Action
Our youngest disciples used rice and beans to make babies with their same birthweight. The babies were swaddled in baby blankets which will go to new babies in the community. In addition, the classes raised about $1,000 to help those in need.

Rosary Groups
We are in the Lenten Season and it is a season of fasting, prayer, and almsgiving. Would you like to begin your day in prayer, but can’t seem to make the time? This Lent, consider taking one morning each week to begin your day with the Rosary. We have two morning Rosary Prayer Groups here at SMG – one each for men and women. We are very informal – come as you are. We meet in the St. Maria Center at 7:35 am. Drop off your student in car line, then stop in for 20 minutes of prayer. There is no better way to begin the day than spending a few moments with God. All are welcome to join us.
