• Jan Rogenski, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, provided an update on beginning of the year action steps related to our Strategic Plan, focusing on the areas of Deep Learning and Equity - click HERE to view the presentation
• Superintendent Morgan gave an update on COVID/Safety Information and shared that our district Health Center is now open, staffed by our amazing COVID Response Team

• After a huge thank you to the Business Services Staff, Chief Business Official, Vince Morales, presented the Unaudited Actual Financial Reports for the 2020-21 school year - the report was accepted by the Board 5-0
• Vince Morales presented Appropriations Limit Resolution 21-22-02, which is the annual certification that the District spending does not exceed the constitutional limit under Prop 4, GANN Limit - the resolution was approved 5-0
• A request to purchase necessary new food services equipment for the Child Nutrition Services Team was presented by Vince Morales - the purchases were approved 5-0
• To aid in the recruitment of in-demand substitute custodians, Vince Morales requested approval to increase starting pay to Step 2 on the pay scale - approved 5-0

• Aimee Moss: attended Institute Day on 8/9, reviewed the 8/23 Board meeting with Superintendent Morgan, started volunteering again at the WCI Library, and participated in the pre-meeting tour of WCI
• Liz Bettis: participated in the pre-meeting tour of WCI
• Heidi Hernandez-Gatty: attended a CALSBA presentation on Meeting the Mental Health Needs of Latinx Students, attended a CCCSBA presentation on How to Maintain Decorum & Civility in School Board Meetings, attended the WaLaMOrinda Board President's Meeting, participated in the pre-meeting tour of WCI, and will be part of a conversation in October on school safety routes
