4-H Building Board Update
We are working on finishing up some projects that have been started. "Our history wall" is going to be a great way to honor the volunteers who worked so hard to get this building started for the 4-H programs! Also it will give it a much needed facelift in that area as you walk in the door by the kitchen. We are still working on raising money for the new roof! We have raised $7, 280 in the last 8 months and have some great events coming up to help hit $10,000 by the fair! If you have any ideas and would like to help fundraise we would love to hear your ideas. Remember, we have our board meetings every month on the 3rd Monday at 6:30 pm and they are always open to the public!
We are hosting a Father's Day Breakfast at the 4-H Building on June 13th from 9 am-1 pm. Bring your dad down for a great breakfast and to support a great cause! All money raised will go to the new roof.

District and State Horse Show
From the State Office: This year the Horse Expo (July 10th - 14th) is scheduled on the same dates as the National Jr. Angus Show. Since both events are happening at the same time, we HIGHLY recommend families are notified about the limited hotel availability during the state horse show. We would like to give families plenty of warning, so they are not struggling to book hotels closer to our event. A block of rooms is available at the Fairfield Inn hotel. 308-381-8980
New this year all youth will enter themselves into ShoWorks to register and pay entries to compete at a District and State Horse Show. Online entry procedures for exhibitors can be found on the State horse show webpage- https://4h.unl.edu/state-horse-expo-entry Online entry can be done at: https://nhorse.fairwire.com/
Horse ID Forms need to be completed and turned into the Extension office by May 7th.
