All the info you want to know about the zoo trip
How much is parking? $10 per car. I would try to have cash for this - not sure if they take credit or debit at the parking booth. You can call and ask the zoo if you need to know that answer.
If I haven't signed up already to go, can I still go to the zoo? YES! We need all the parent support we can get. Please sign up below as a Volunteer. Then you need to sign up under the "opportunity" section for the field trip. All of this can be found at the link given at the bottom of this newsletter.
Can I ride on the school bus with my child? No. For insurance reasons, parents are not allowed to ride on the school but.
Am I allowed to take my child from the field trip when we are finished about 1 PM?
YES! Your child can ride home with you.
FIELD TRIP to the Dallas zoo SIGN UP
You will need to have filled out a "Volunteer form" (See bottom of this newsletter) first. After you have done that, it will show all the "OPPORTUNITIES" to volunteer. Click on KINDERGARTEN FIELD TRIP and it will let us know you are going on the trip as a chaperone...either with your own child or with one extra friend that doesn't have a family member going.
We are so excited that you are planning to spend this day with your child. It is a great bonding day to be with just them and their friends!
Parents will be $6 for each adults and it will be $10 parking (cash). Will update soon on how much each child will need to to pay for the trip.
