Growing Leaders!
Principal's Message!
Hello to All,
This past week was the best yet! Each week gets better than the last! Every week, Prosper ISD offers more opportunities for our families and students to partake in, and this past week was no different! Homecoming Week was full of excitement and our students had lots of spirit. The Homecoming Parade, on Wednesday, was a sweetened event! Parade Floats, families and candy were everywhere. It was GREAT to see our Prosper families come out and enjoy this event!
This week, we will honor our bus drivers. For many of our students who ride the bus to and from school, our bus drivers are the first and last school officials our students encounter in the mornings and afternoons. Our drivers do a phenomenal job of greeting our students, making sure our students get to and from school safely and always in a safe environment. If you get the chance to see a bus driver, please thank them for ALL that they do! OUR BUS DRIVERS ARE AMAZING!!!!!
LOST & FOUND: Our Lost & Found is GROWING! After Friday, we will bag up all items and donate them. IF your child has lost any items, please have them look for them this week! After Friday, all items will be donated.
LABELING ALL ITEMS: Parents, if possible, please label all items that are sent to school with your child's last name on it. I would rather return an item, back to our students, than for any item never to be reclaimed again. Your help with this would be appreciated.
TARDIES: We have had many students late to school...and late to class, since our weather has started to cool down. When a student is late, they miss out on their class morning meetings! The first part of the day is crucial to the social-emotional well-being of all our students! The day is specifically designed around this and when our students are late, they are missing this vital lesson. Please make sure you are getting your student to school on time! Thank you.
STUDENT LED CONFERENCES: On Friday, October 25th, our students will help lead the discussion on what they have been learning in school, through our Student Led Conferences. It's a great leadership opportunity for all of our students. Please make sure that you have signed up for a conference through your child's classroom teacher. IF you are not able to attend, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher and make other arrangements.

FURR Elementary will be collecting these donated items: Vegetable Oil, Individual sized snacks, and Diapers (size 6).

I continue to be amazed at the genuine kindness our students show towards each other. Your fostering of kindness has had a huge impact on our students and our school! Thank you for sharing and supporting these kind students with us!
Thank you for entrusting us with your children so that we can make the world a better place. It starts with us...Be Kind!
Respectfully,
Cindy Zukowski
