Paschal Choir News Letter
Easter
UIL is in the books!
Letter from the Director:
In addition to that, we saw four ensembles receive Sweepstakes trophies this week! This is a first for PHS. Congratulations to Harmony (Intermediate Women) for improving on last year's results. All three Varsity ensembles also brought home trophies. Thats, 24 Superior ratings in two days. WOW.
What a proud moment for our community. The singers of Paschal continue to grow, engage, and impress. If you've never had an opportunity to watch your child sight read at a contest you need make time. In some ways it's a more impressive show than watching students sing their prepared concert. You see leadership, team work, problem solving, extreme mental focus. Seeing kids use their literacy skills in real time is mind blowing.
One of the proudest moments for me during this process is watching students insert their learned knowledge into the rehearsal. Many kids in each class raised their hands this week and said, "no, thats not good enough. We need to fix this and make this moment better." It's breathe taking to watch humans grow.
