Juvenile Diabetes Foundation
Juvenile Diabetes, commonly known as Type 1 Diabetes, can be diagnosed at any age. It is more common for this disease to be discovered from infancy to your late 30s. With this type of diabetes, a person's pancreas produces little or no insulin. People with Type 1 diabetes have to inject themselves with insulin daily to maintain a regular blood pressure. There is nothing you can do to prevent or get rid of Type 1 Diabetes.
