All-Campus PLC Wednesday
Remember that everything we do is toward our common goal to sharpen our skills so that we can provide students with the best instruction possible and improve student learning so that we can move every student forward.
1st Day Procedures
Afternoon Duty
Teachers in odd numbered rooms please help clear the halls and teachers in even numbered rooms please come outside to help supervise. We need some teachers at the bus stop as well as in front. Once the halls have cleared, those inside will join the others outside. Please engage the students and continue to work on relationships as you supervise. This is a great opportunity for us to set the right tone for the year and get to know all of our students a bit better.
Emergency Binder
Capturing Kids' Hearts
As our manual states, "When we start class with Engage, we are preparing the way for the student to be involved with us in the learning process (p. 16).
Remember the 4 Questions:
•What are you doing?
•What are you supposed to be doing?
•Are you doing it?
•What are you going to do about it?
Do not go on to the next question until you get an appropriate response to the question you are asking.
Consistency is key.
