Week 3: Social Media & Its Link To Depression/Anxiety
Last Week's Daily Tips For Mental Wellness
Jan. 13: Give three people compliments to others. When you go out of your way to say something nice and give thoughtful praise to another person, it amplifies your self-confidence and nourishes your self-esteem
Jan. 14: Write down two things that you like about yourself. Learning to write down positive thoughts helps you to train your brain to think more positively. It’s like training a muscle: the more you exercise it, the stronger it becomes.
Jan. 15: Eat one healthy meal today. Eating healthy helps with strong bones, puts you in a better mood, and improves memory.
Jan. 16: Take a small break. Sometimes the best thing to do is a simple breathing exercise: Close your eyes and take ten deep breaths. For each one, count to four as you inhale, hold it for a count of four, and then exhale for another four. This works wonders almost immediately.
Jan 17: Do one random act of kindness for someone. Helping others makes you feel good which increases your mental wellness.
