REMINDERS (Repeated from Prior Updates)

New Club for 3rd and 4th Graders – Philanthropy Lab!

A brand new club is forming this year for 3rd and 4th graders focused on helping others in our community and world! We will meet from 3:30-4:45 at Field Park on 11/5, 12/10, 1/21, and 2/4. Plan to attend every meeting because they build on one another! We will first have the opportunity to learn about different causes and ways to give back. Each child will then develop a service project (using advocacy, volunteering, or fundraising) to complete independently. In our final two meetings, students will create a presentation about their project and share their project with the group and family visitors. Please see attached flyer with more details. Sign up by emailing Sarah Ruse (sarah.ruse@gmail.com) by 10/29. We are also looking for parent volunteers to make this club possible. Questions? Reach out to Sarah or Christen Wiggins (christenil@hotmail.com).

Disposable Mask Donations

If you are interested in lending a small but significant helping hand to our school, we would greatly appreciate any donations of child-sized disposable masks; we are happy to provide them for our students at each entry door, as we know that masks often get lost or soiled while outdoors for lunch and recess... but we're having a hard time keeping them "in stock"! If you are interested in donating masks, please just send them with your child to the main office or drop them off in the office vestibule. Thank you!
