He started radio broadcasting at the age of 16. Later on he came to America and worked for the only Spanish broadcasting station (KWKW). After a while he picked up the rights to broadcast for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Spanish.

Jaime Jarrin is famous for being the Spanish sports commentary for the Dodgers.He has called 19 all star games and 30 world boxing championship. He is also famous for being the second Spanish broadcaster to win the Ford C.Frick.
