CACC Releases Updated Attendance Plan - Beginning October 5th
Attention Seniors! FSA ID Workshop Today!
TODAY Tuesday, September 29th from 12:45-1:45
FSA ID workshop – (approximately 45 – 60 min)
Attendees will be given information on how to obtain an FSA ID and ISAC staff will be available to answer individual questions and troubleshoot any issues. An FSA ID is required for an individual to sign a FAFSA electronically and to electronically transfer to the FAFSA the income and tax information submitted to the IRS. By using an FSA ID, it increases data entry accuracy and can expedite the completion and submission of a FAFSA. An FSA ID can be created by all students and parents with a social security number.
We will have a guest presenter, Ms. Zavala, from ISAC for TODAY's presentation. Please note, you will NOT be using Zoom for this workshop but rather Webex. Please see the information below!

JH Student Council News...
Our first order of business will be our Fannie May fundraiser. We are looking at starting our fundraiser the 3rd week in October. Details will follow soon!
Attention 9th and 10 Grade Students - Global Read Aloud for the book Stamped begins Oct.5th!
Mr. Bandy is inviting all 9th and 10th grade students to consider participating in a Global Read Aloud this semester. This has been taking place across our country and around our world for the past few years. This year New Berlin students have the opportunity to participate in the Read Aloud of the book Stamped by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi.
You will not be reading, but you will have the opportunity to listen as this book is read by myself at 7:00 p.m. on Mondays over six weeks. I really encourage you to participate as it will give you a sense of community with other students in our school, you will be challenged to think, and you will be dealing with an issue in racism and anti-racism that has been prevalent in our news over the past few months.
Our first Monday of reading will be October 5, so mark your calendars now. I encourage you to begin joining via ZOOM by 6:55 p.m., so we can begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. My ZOOM room code is 740 110 9833.
Please join us for this unique opportunity to listen and spend time with one another.
