Bear Down on Bullies!
We pledge to “Bear Down on Bullies!”
Stop, Block, Tell!
Students from Maine East High School came to Apollo to teach the 5th graders all about ways of being responsible when using technology such as social media. During the presentation, students had the chance to discuss different scenarios and work with the high school students to determine ways to handle certain situations. The interactive presentation taught the students the importance of using technology responsibly!

Tip of the Month
Keep your child thinking during winter break while also creating new traditions!!
Winter Break is a time for students to relax, spend time with family, and create memories/ learning experiences! I believe that it is important for students to take a breather from our hectic learning schedule to try something different and have fun so they can return back to school refreshed and ready to learn!
With that being said, it is very important to not let school skills like reading, writing, and math completely go away during winter vacation! There are many fun and creative activities you can do with your child to keep their mind thinking!
