Week of May 9th

The Week That Was...

Brace yourselves....we only have 4 1/2 weeks of school left! Each week it seems as if we go from Monday to Friday in a blink of an eye and we still have so much to do and celebrate this year.

This week several of our classes traveled to the Air and Space Museum at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly and had a high flying blast of a time (sorry, I couldn't help using those words:) Our 4th graders went on a tour of the White House which had us all arrive at school at 5:00 am!

Parent's Night Out was lots of fun and one young participant told me "It's really not Parent's Night Out; it's Kid's Fun Night!" I think he might be right!

We have had so much rain the past two weeks and it looks like we will have a little more rain this weekend and through next week. Below in my SMORE I have listed some indoor places you may want to visit for some dry fun.

Wishing you all a marvelous weekend!
