Helping Hand's Monthly Service Project
This morning after mass students gathered with their prayer partners to work on our school wide service initiative partnering with The Breathing Room. Students decorated banners with their hand prints as a symbol of how many hands working together can help a family dealing with Cancer. These banners will be decorating our classrooms throughout the school year.
This is a picture of our preschoolers working on their banner.

First Friday Mass and Awards
This morning after First Friday Mass the school community celebrated those students who received awards
for Random Acts of Kindness and Student of the Month. Each week StJP recognizes students who demonstrate random acts of kindness towards one another. No matter the size of the action, all acts of kindness have an impact.
Our students strive to do their best daily. We acknowledge that hard work each month by presenting a Student of the Month that displays a specific virtue all month long.
September Honorees were recognized for the virtue of "JOY!"
Handbook and Acceptable Use Forms are now PAST DUE!
If you have not handed in these forms, they are now past due. Forms must be turned in no later than October 16! Students will begin to receive infractions if the handbook form is not turned in. Students will not be permitted to use computers/technology if they are missing the acceptable use form.
Forms can be found and printed from the link below:
http://stjpschool.org/pgs/handbook2.htmHandbook Highlight (Winter uniforms will begin Monday October 12)
StJP will continue to follow the uniform policy that was in effect during the 2014-2015 school year. As I have stated previously, we may revisit the uniform, but those changes will not be decided until later in the year and will not become mandatory until 2016-2017 year. If any changes are made the soul purpose would be to make it more uniform and easier for everyone to follow.
