The type of government that India has is a federal republic. The name of the leader in the executive branch is President Pranab MUKHERJEE. The name of the legislative branch is bicameral Parliament or Sansad consists of the Council of States or Rajya Sabha. The judicail branch controls all the courts in the country. The constitution was made on January 26th, 1950. Anyone can vote if they are 18 or older.


The per capita GDP is 3,900. Their agricultural products are rice, wheat, oilseed, cotton, jute, tea, sugarcane, lentils, onions, potatoes, different types of dairy products, sheep, goats, poultry, and fish. The percent of industries are 4.8%. The industries are textiles, chemicals, food processing, steel, transportation equipment, cement, mining, petroleum, machinery, software, and pharmaceuticals.agricultural are 53%. The percent of the labor forced that are industrial are 19%. The percent of labor forced that are services are 28%. The currency for India is rupee.


The nationality is Indian. The enthic groups are Indo-Aryan , Dravidian , and  Mongold. The languages spoken are Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayam, Oriya, Punjabi, Assamese, and Maithilin. Their religions are Hindu, Muslum, Christianity, and Sakh.


The landforms India has are, upland plain (Deccan Plateau) in south, flat to rolling plain along the Ganges, deserts in west, Himalayas in the north. The natural resources includecoal, iron ore, manganese, mica, bauxite, rare earth elements, titanium ore, chromite, natural gas, diamonds, petroleum, limestone, and arable land. The natural disasters that India has are, droughts, severe thunderstorms, and earthquakes. The climate varies from tropical monsoon in the south to temperate in the north.
