Husky Parent News Flash

July 30 - August 3, 2018

Welcome Back

Summer is a time for relaxing, traveling, catching up on projects, and so much more. The summer break lets our minds rest and become refreshed. The sunshine is good for the soul and allows for a much needed break.

As the summer comes to an end, new things are happening at Hughes. Progress on our building is in full swing. We are so excited with the changes which are already visible. The doors will open soon and our students will begin classes on August 20th.

The remodeling of Hughes will continue throughout the school year. With the continued remodeling, we will communicate changes as we receive them. Parent pick up will be relocated, bus drop off will change.....

....we are excited for 2018-2019.

Students will get to walk their schedules, tour the school, and play fun games hosted by the HMS teachers.

Please drop students off by 8:30 and pick up promptly at 11:30.

**Due to construction, the entrance to the school is located at the far left of the building. Nearest the tennis courts.

Proof of Residency Changes

Beginning with the 2018-19 school year we will only be requiring returning students in grades 3, 6 and 9 to upload a utility bill. Returning students in all other grades will fill out a form confirming that they still live at the same address, but will not be asked to upload. Students that move, are a Family in Residence, a Minor Living Apart or a Grandparent Clause will still be required to prove residency in person at the campus regardless of grade level.

New Students to the District: these changes do not apply.
