Safety Reminder- Kinder Drop Off
Just a reminder that students are not allowed on campus until 8:15am each day and there is no morning supervision at Kinder drop off. We ask that parents be mindful and make sure students/siblings are following schoolwide expectations to be safe on campus, which includes staying out of playground areas. We sure appreciate your support to keep our students safe!
Halloween is Around the Corner!
This year Coyotes will once again have the opportunity to to dress up for Halloween on Friday, October 28th (*reminder that Monday, October 31 is a Staff Professional Development Day and students will not be attending school the actual day of Halloween). Students in costumes will participate in a small parade for peers only on the morning of the 28th.
Below are some parameters to keep in mind for costumes:
no masks or face paint
no weapons, props, or accessories
costumes must not interfere with classroom instruction or impede the ability to complete work for the student or those around them
the school is not responsible for damage or lost costumes
students need to be able to independently put on and take off their own costumes and be able to use the restroom
feel free to send a change of clothes for them to put on after the parade

MEALS CONTINUE TO BE FREE FOR ALL STUDENTS!
Welcome back to school for the 2022-23 school year. During the upcoming year, MEALS WILL BE FREE FOR ALL STUDENTS!
Although meals are free, we still need families to complete the Federal Meal Application to direct your State and Federal tax dollars to RUSD. This funding is used to provide counselors, intervention and tutoring programs, mental health and behavioral supports, full day TK and Kindergarten programs, and more. Please take a moment to complete the application online at the link here.
