Field Day Information
On Friday, June 1st, Spring Garden School will be holding our annual Get FIt Field Day! Students will be participating in many activities that promote fun and fitness. Students in grades K through 3 will be participating in field day from 9:15 to 11:15, while students in grades 4 through 6 will be participating from 12:30 to 2:30. The PTO will provide Rita’s Ice for each student at the end of the day.
We are asking each grade to wear an assigned color t-shirt based on grade. Please send your child to school with the following color shirts:
Kindergarten- school shirts
1st grade- green
2nd grade- blue
3rd grade- red
4th grade- black
5th grade- orange
6th grade- white
Please follow the guidelines below in order to ensure that your child has a safe and fun fiulled day:
Send your child to school in sneakers
Apply sunscreen to your child before they come to school in the morning
Send your child to school with a water bottle labeled with his/her name
Remind your child we have the highest expectations for their behavior during this day
The rain date will be Wednesday, June 6th. A notification will be sent out on May 31st in the event of rain and cancellation of field day on June 1st.
