Beall Brief
Week of September 1
Just a few updates:
Thank you for sharing your children with us this week! It has been a wonderful week of learning, building relationships, and beginning to grow together. Staff and students entered the building on Monday energized for the year and teaching and learning started immediately. As Ms. Tulchinsky-Cohen and I have been in and out of classrooms all week long, we couldn’t be prouder of the things that we’ve been seeing. Our students have been focused and engaged. They have been fostering new relationships and continuing old ones. Our teachers have enjoyed getting to know their students, setting up classroom routines and jumping right into instruction.
Our dismissal tweaks seem to be working as most students are escorted by staff to the different dismissal locations. Although some buses continue to work out schedule timing and monitor overcrowding, we are happy to report that we did not have a single student miss their bus this week. That is quite the accomplishment for Week 1.
We hope everyone enjoys the holiday weekend.
See you on Tuesday.
Fire Drills and Emergency Procedures
Throughout the year, we will continue to practice our emergency procedures including:
- Fire Drills

Join the PTA!
Please join the PTA for the 2023-2024 school year! Your support is critical for the PTA programs and events that we all love. The 2023-2024 membership form is now open - please join today! A note about this year's dues: In an effort to ensure that cost is not a barrier to any Beall family joining the PTA, we have lowered our PTA dues substantially. We are therefore kindly requesting that you consider making a donation to the PTA when you purchase your membership, to support our programming. A donation in the amount of $20 (individual) or $35 (family) would bring your total contribution in line with last year's dues, but any amount is appreciated. We thank you for your support.
