Are you a new SLP working in public schools? ESC Region 11's New Speech-Language Pathology Academy is a series of sessions focused on supporting SLPs in their first few years by helping them understand the laws, vocabulary, procedures, and tools needed to work in the public education system. Come, learn, and build a network of support from other new SLPs in our region!

BUILDING SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS 2 BOOK STUDY- VIRTUAL
Building Social Relationships 2 by Scott Bellini uses the same comprehensive five-step model to address social programming as discussed in the first edition while including the infusion of new lessons learned through implementing the practices. New to this edition is the teaching of both social skills and social-cognitive processing, including social problem-solving, observational learning, and attention, and successful strategies to teach social skills and social-cognitive processing."

GIVE ME FIVE: FIVE GREAT TOOLS FOR TEACHING UNITY OR LAMP WORDS FOR LIFE
In this training, Christie Gallaher, M.A., CCC-SLP, PRC- Saltillo Consultant, will provide participants with five great tools to help teach and implement Unity and LAMP Words for Life. Participants will learn how to use Word Finder, Vocabulary Builder, PRC Application Support Software (PASS demo software), the AAC Language Lab, and Realize Language.
