Principal Message Nov 27th

Principal Message November 28th, 2022

Kennedy Families,

Welcome back everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday break. The next three weeks will go by quickly, so make sure you’re up to date with everything happening in Cougar Country!

First, I would like to thank all the families who attended parent-teacher conferences. We appreciate you finding the time to come on site or join virtually, and we hope these conferences were able to provide information to better support your students.

I would also like to thank the many parents that volunteered to manage our Scholastic Book Fair. We wouldn't have been able to provide the access to our students without your help. THANK YOU!

Covid and Other Illnesses

Please administer the COVID test that was given to your student on Nov 17 & Nov 18 before returning to school on Nov 28, 2022. If a student is sick with COVID, flu or cold, please keep him/her at home.

1st Trimester Grade Highlights:

Over 60% of our students scored a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and 30% earned honor roll or principal's honor roll which means they scored 3.75 and above. This is great and shows that our students are engaged and want to do well!
