mass reflections
Father said that God is speaking to us when we read the Bible and scriptures. I felt that because the readings relate to our lives, and God always has a plan for us. I feel like I am talking to Jesus and God whenever I listen to the readings. God is inside our hearts, and He really loves us.
- Addison, Grade 8
On Wednesday, Father Hank talked about how we talk to God. Now you might not hear him at first, but then you will. God talks to us in many different ways. Through the Bible, through consecration, and through actions. We can always claim that God is in us because we have heard the Word.
- Lily, Grade 8
In Father's Homily, he talked about how in the scripture, Jesus talked to his disciples. He tied this in with us by saying God talks to us. Even though we may not hear him, he talks to us through the liturgy and the Gospel. He finished by saying when we talk to God through the liturgy or the Gospel, we become closer to him as children of God.

Gospel Reading This Sunday
Gospel for Sunday, April 11:
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.
When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you." After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you." When he said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit."
The Gospel of the Lord.
