Summer of 2019
Building Improvements
This summer we have plans to repave the North parking lot off the gym, paint the entire gym including the ceiling and install a new professional grade kitchen, off the gymnasium, with a fryer, refrigerators, cook top and oven. We are also installing new filtered water fountains through out the building.
Educational Improvements
We are implementing Second Step Social Emotional Learning Program next school year which we were able to purchase using Title funds.
Before school care will now have a cold breakfast option to purchase from FSP. We are hiring a classroom aide for Kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year.
Grants
Items we are working on but have not been confirmed are obtaining a grant from the Archdiocese of Chicago for new windows on main and second floor and new roof on the second floor. The Archdiocese loves our school and is supporting our efforts.
FSP
Before school care breakfast program will begin at the start of the 2019-2020 school year! Hiring an after school care person from the hours of 2:30-6:00 p.m. so Mrs. V can head back into the classroom full-time.
With your support our school will continue to grow, be successful and develop children who love God, learning, and are compassionate to others. I am very proud of the combined effort that made this school year a success!! Thank you!!
Peace and joy,
Mrs. Rybarczyk

#SaveMyScholarship Wrap Up
We did it! After pounding the pavement in Springfield throughout the legislative session, Tax Credit Scholarship advocates were elated to learn last Friday that the program would remain intact. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the family members, teachers, and school leaders who have joined us, both in Springfield and at home, in the fight for Illinois' kids.
With support from General Assembly leaders, Governor Pritzker, and many legislative champions, Illinois’ kids can now continue to count on quality education options. Be sure to thank your elected officials today for their support!
On behalf of children across Illinois, thank you for your advocacy these past five weeks. YOUR voices made all the difference.
