Connect! Inspire! Achieve!
From the Principal’s Desk
Last week Dr. Michael, Superintendent of Washington County Public Schools, sent out a message to parents and guardians about school safety. If you missed his letter, the link can be found below. In Dr. Michael's message he stated:
"Students, staff and the community are encouraged to be observant and let an adult know if they see or hear something that makes them feel uncomfortable, nervous or frightened, and especially if they hear threats of dangerous behavior. If you ever have any doubt, contact law enforcement immediately.”
Safety is our number one priority, and it takes all of us to be successful. Never hesitate to contact us with concerns or even suggestions. We will continue to practice all of our safety drills and work as a team to keep our building safe.

PTO News
From the PTO
We would like to give a great big thank you to the volunteers helping PTO this year…we truly appreciate your help and support! We have some amazing activities planned for the remainder of the school year and we need more volunteers to make each activity a successful event. We are looking for volunteers for the Book Fair being held in March, volunteers to help with staff appreciation the first week of May, AND volunteers to be active members of our PTO next school year.
In addition, we are having a Color Run on March 11th at Boonsboro Middle School. Registration information is below. This is a family friendly event and we hope you will consider joining us. All proceeds benefit the PTO. If you are interested in lending a hand for any of our events, please contact Cindy Line, 301-667-7731 c.line@myactv.net.
One final note: All Box Tops should be turned in by Monday, February 26 in order for us to send them in by the deadline. We will still collect them after Monday, but they will count toward next year's total.
Thank you!
