Media Center Update

November 2021

November is a month for gratitude and thanks!

As we approach the middle of November, make sure to pause and reflect on some important dates that remind us to be grateful and thankful. Upcoming important holidays include Veteran's Day on Thursday, 11/11, and Thanksgiving on Thursday, 11/25.

In the November edition of the Media Center Update, you will find out more information about the following:

  • Veteran's Day book display in the Media Center
  • November Book Bingo
  • Virtual stickerboard surprise
  • "Take and Make" craft kits
  • Title spotlight: Native American Heritage Month

Check out our Veteran's Day display in the Media Center!

The Media Center is celebrating Veteran's Day this year with a book display dedicated to remembering those who served in World War I, World War II, Korean War, Afghan War, and Iraq War. Stop by and browse the display paying tribute to the sacrifices of those soldiers.

“Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude.” - Harry S. Truman

November Book Bingo Board!

If you missed the opportunity to participate in October's Book Bingo, no worries! The November Book Bingo is available through the QR code on the right, or as a paper copy in the Media Center. Prizes for completed bingo sheets (with title and author) include Wawa and Amazon gift cards!

Be Grateful for More Virtual Stickerboards!

Our October virtual stickerboard was so popular, it was completed within a few hours! The Media Center is showing its gratitude to all those who participated (and those who didn't get a chance to do so!) by releasing TWO virtual stickerboards for the month of November.
