A Note From The Director-April Turner
As the hectic time of the holiday season starts to impact our lives, I hope everyone gets a chance to slow down and take in the magic of small moments. The laughter from busy classrooms has been a nice reminder of the wonders of the season. I know the classes are excited to learn about many different holidays.
Thank you for your donations towards the food bank last month. This month, we will continue to collect for the church food pantry and the food bank.
Our last day of classes before the winter break will be Thursday, December 17. We will have an all- school pajama day on this day and maybe a few holiday surprises! Looking ahead to the new year, school resumes on Monday, January 4. Teachers will be holding parent-teacher conferences in late January and registration will begin on Monday, February 8 for the 2021-22 school year.
On a personal note, I want to thank everyone for your continued support of the school. As I reflect on my 1st year here as Director, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the school and I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful program and community. Thank you for all that you do for the school. Happy Holidays and I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year!

Support a St. Mark's Family for the Holidays
Like so many, 2020 has been a challenging year for some of our families. Please consider supporting 2 of our community families this holiday season. We will be gathering clothes, toys and goodies for both families through Wednesday, December 16. The gifts we are gathering are for a 4 year old girl, a 6 year old boy, a 9 year old girl, and two mothers. Please bring the unwrapped gift to the office. We will collect gifts here and deliver to the family before the holidays. Gift cards are also very helpful for both families.
Here are some items on their wish list:
- Clothes: Size 4/5 girls; Size 8/9 boys: Size 14/16 girls
- Toys/Items: Arts and Craft Kits; Coloring Supplies; Lego/Building Blocks; Toy Cars; Books and toys designed to inspire learning; Bath and Body products.
Thank you for helping to support and give to these families this holiday season of friendship, family and giving.
