In 1982 Howard Schultz went to the owners of Starbucks (Jerry Baldwin and Gordon Bowker) and asked them if he could be a their marketing manager.

Starting Over

Later in 1987, Schultz bought Starbucks from Baldwin and Bowker for $150,000. He started to spice up the style and was inspired to design by a retail located in Pike Place Market. A well known place that sold coffee beans, and coffee working products.

Starbucks Today

The first years that Starbucks was running there were seventeen existing. And by the 2000's, there 3,000 all over the world. Starting from the US, Canada, Asia, and even Europe.
